I was blessed abundantly during the short trip to Redding. The reason is that this is the place where Patrick and I met, got married, finished school, had 2 of our 3 children. The church we called home there has some of the best people on the planet. We love the people of Redding! We met a new friend and got to pray with her and encourage her in this time of transition for her.

We went to see two beautiful friends get married.We visited the wonderfully pleasant and freezing Sacramento River, and the kids loved getting their feet wet and throwing rocks and sticks into the water.

God has been orchestrating our trip since Day 1. The time we had in Redding, God provided again with his love. The kids needed shoes, we hadn’t told anyone, and God provided someone to buy some for the two big ones.

We also got major spoiled but friends praying for us and watching our kids for a night.

Then, 2 women from Canada were in town and saw a light over Patrick before we met them, we were down by the Sacramento River. Later that day they saw Patrick at the evening service of The Stirring and were so glad to pray for us and encourage us. I just feel like God is trying to wow us!
